学生时期读过的书，没有想到还会在它出版的七十年后再有一次影视改编（并且有Chloë Sevigny）。无论是音乐选用还是光线构图，都足够精致，也创造了“夏日情动”的世界；让人感觉真的像在翻阅一本书。但在挖掘角色心境的部分，却常常因节奏缓慢以及一种漫不经心的观感，而不免陷入空洞。发现Lily McInerny上一部电影也是涉及和错龄男子的关系，这个选择蛮奇怪的。
